Waste Minimization:

To enhance waste reduction and minimize off-site disposal cost, Ancon integrated our tank cleaning capabilities with the ability to minimize waste and/or recover product. Ancon accomplishes this with the utilization of filter presses and two and three phase centrifuges. Each waste stream requires analytical testing to determine the proper and most effective method of allocating the appropriate resources to maximize efficiency.

Filter Press Technology

In the Filter Press Process, Ancon will extract sludge from a holding facility and condition the sludge as necessary by mixing filter media to create a body feed for the sludge. The conditioned sludge is then pumped into the filter press for solids to be extracted and liquids to be pushed through the screens and sent out to a designated holding facility. Solids will be trapped in the plates and the centrate will be put into holding tanks.
Not all sludge needs body feed and may be pumped directly to the filter press.

Centrifuge

Ancon utilizes trailer mounted 2-phase and 3-phase centrifuge systems for the separation and recovery of oil, water and solids. Each waste stream requires analytical testing to determine the proper and most effective method to ensure production and disposal requirements.
Our equipment provides superior filtration and is capable of removing a broad range of particulate resulting in reduces disposal treatment costs.
